As an early-stage producer, we maintain a unique environmental advantage: a core pillar of our strategy involves the reprocessing of existing gold dumps. By treating these historical tailings, we:

  • Rehabilitate land for future agricultural and community use.
  • Reduce the requirement for new ground disturbance, preserving natural habitat.

We recognise that our operations depend on and impact the natural environment. Ruvimbo is continuously growing its environmental knowledge base, particularly in the context of climate change. We aim to use resources efficiently, employing:

  • Closed-loop water systems in alluvial operations to minimise waste and reduce freshwater consumption.
  • Energy-efficient processing technology where available.
  • Ongoing circularity assessment to identify and reduce waste across the value chain.
  • Climate risk screening as part of all new project evaluations.

Local Employment: Ruvimbo seeks to maximise local employment as a driver of generational wealth creation. We are proud that in excess of 90% of the Ruvimbo Resources team are Zimbabwean nationals — ensuring that skills transfer, economic value, and opportunity are retained within the country, not extracted from it.


Infrastructure & Community Investment : Where mine development intersects with community needs, Ruvimbo invests in local infrastructure including access roads, water access improvements, and skills training programmes.
