Phase 1: Surface & Alluvial Extraction
Phase 1 prioritises immediate cash flow through the processing of existing surface dumps and alluvial deposits. These assets represent a strategic advantage: they are low-CAPEX, do not require significant exploration spend, and generate hard-currency revenue that seeds all further development.
Closed-loop water systems are employed across alluvial operations to minimise environmental impact and maximise resource efficiency.
Phase 2: Underground Shaft Development
The revenue generated in Phase 1 funds the rehabilitation of historic āGermanā shafts ā deep hard-rock infrastructure built by earlier operators that gives direct access to high-grade underground veins. - Processing Capability
Ruvimbo Resources operates dedicated processing infrastructure aligned to the specific metallurgical characteristics of Zimbabwean greenstone gold deposits. Our processing approach is built on three pillars:
Milling
Primary crushing and milling of both alluvial material and hard-rock ore, with capacity scaled to match current production and expandable to accommodate Phase 2 underground volumes.
Recovery
Gold recovery is achieved through a combination of gravity concentration and leach-based circuits, optimised to maximise yield from both surface dump material (which may contain historical mercury and cyanide residues) and fresh ore from underground operations.
